West End Wrenches

Wrenches sign world-class goaltender T

The West End Wrenches have locked up their crease. T put pen to paper this week and brings an 85 overall, 88 reflexes and a glove hand that steals goals from people who thought they had a sure thing.

Scouts rave about his Reality Warp ability: his reaction time actually improves with every beer, so expect his best saves in the third period.

There is one concern in the medical report. T has a severely sensitive stomach, and a plate of pasta before puck drop has ended more than one of his nights early. Team staff have banned all noodles from the dressing room, effective immediately.

Signing

Beerly Legal up next on Monday night

The Wrenches are back at the Sensplex on Monday, October 12 for an 8:30 PM puck drop against Beerly Legal. Get there early, tape up, and bring both jerseys.

Meet the forwards

Landry leads the group with a 96 overall and a passing rating of 12, so once he has the puck, it is his. Hicky brings 99 scoring and calls his next goal before every shift, correctly one time in five. Twins Blake and Wade work opposite wings, and nobody, including the ref, can tell which one scored.

Full scouting reports are on the Players page.

Wrenches land first headline sponsor: Cavan McCue Real Estate Group

The West End Wrenches have signed their first headline sponsor. Cavan McCue Real Estate Group is coming on board to back the team for the season.

The partnership pairs a team that has never once found the right spot on the ice with a group that always finds the right property. Expect the McCue crest around the team all year.

Thinking about buying or selling? Ask Cavan at the rink. He is easy to find: he will be the one who could not stop in time.
